From West Kirby Railway Station, which is at the end of the Wirral Line (West Kirby Branch):
Come out of the Main Entrance to the station and turn left towards the hill. This takes you past the Library and the Indoor Swimming Pool, after about 50 metres, cross the road and continue up the hill until you pass The White Lion pub on the other side of the road. Just past this point there is a pedestrian entry to your right which is Carpenters Lane.
Go down this footpath and after about 150 metres it opens out into a road. Keep on the left hand pavement and after a further two hundred metres you will come to our house which is the last house in the road. If asking directions say that we are the nearest house to St. Bridgets Church
Find us from West Kirby Station by Car
You must be going towards the hill as you pass the station on your left. If not, find a place to turn round so that you can see the next thing is to go up the hill. Pass the station and take the first right into Westbourne Road (undertakers on the right hand corner). Drive along Westbourne Road ( about 200 yards) to Church Road on the left. This is the third road on your left. Church road takes you over an old railway bridge to the Church on your right, but you take the first left which is Carpenters Lane and we are the first house on the right. Look for the 23 on the metal gate.
Find us from Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station (on foot)
We live about 10 miles West of Liverpool Centre
From Liverpool Lime Street mainline station you have to get on the underground station and find a train going to West Kirby (about every third train on the Wirral Line). This costs about 2UK pounds and West Kirby is the end of the line so you can fall asleep. The whole journey after getting on the train should take about 30 minutes. When you emerge from West Kirby Station follow the instructions in the section above (getting from West Kirby station on foot).
Find us from National Express Bus Station in Liverpool (on foot)
We live about 10 miles West of Liverpool Centre
The best way is to go to Lime Street Railway Station and go on the underground railway. The railway station is at about 400 yards from the bus station and the simplest way is to ask directions in the bus station and walk. If you have too much luggage then take a taxi and ask for the underground station. Then follow the instructions above from Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station
Find us from the Motorway M6 by car
We live about 35 miles west of the M6 at its nearest point. Coming north or south on the M6 take the M56 junction West signposted to Chester/North Wales etc. When the signs say Birkenhead or Liverpool follow these for about 10 miles onto the M53 (mid Wirral motorway) and follow signs to Liverpool. Leave the M53 at Junction 2 to West Kirby and continue past the first roundabout straight on to the next roundabout, where West Kirby is signposted to the right. Continue along this road past the next roundabout (Greasby) and up to the top of a hill (about four miles from the motorway) and turn left. This point is noted by seeing the sea below to the right. Immediately (40 yards) turn right down Village Road until you see the pub 'Ring O' Bells' on the right, and immediately after this turn sharp right down Rectory Lane. After about 100 yards Carpenters Laned is on your right and we are the first house on the right (23).
Find us from Manchester Airport
By Car. We live about 45 miles west of Manchester Airport. Leave the airport and pick up the first sign to the M56 and find the exit for Chester or North Wales. Follow these signs for about 20 miles keeping on the M56 until you see a sign for M53 (mid Wirral Motorway) and then follow signs to Birkenhead. Leave the M53 at Junction 2 to West Kirby and continue past the first roundabout straight on to the next roundabout, where West Kirby is signposted to the right. Continue along this road past the next roundabout (Greasby) and up to the top of a hill (about four miles from the motorway) and turn left. This point is noted by seeing the sea below to the right. Immediately (40 yards) turn right down Village Road until you see the pub 'Ring O' Bells' on the right, and immediately after this turn sharp right down Rectory Lane. After about 100 yards Carpenters Lane is on your right and we are the first house on the right (23)

2. Bus There are frequent (hourly we think) buses from Manchester Airport to Liverpool. Follow instructions from there
3. Taxi We are about 45 miles away. A Taxi hired outside the airport would probably be as much as 50 UK pounds.

We live about 15 miles West of Liverpool Airport
By Car. Leave the Airport Car parks and follows signs for Liverpool Centre. After about 20 minutes you should see signs for Wallasey Tunnel. Keep following these until you pass through the tunnel and at the exit of the tunnel you will be required to pay UK pound £1.20. It is best to select a pay booth which says 'change' so that you get the coins necessary to pass through.
Continue for 3 miles to junction2 for West Kirby and leave to the left. Then continue past the first roundabout straight on to the next roundabout, where West Kirby is signposted to the right.
