Holidays in France 2001.  Julia and Malcolm went to an area about 100 km south of the Loire at Tour. The river Creuse is a wide river running largely through flat land and later joins the Loire.  There was only us on that particular activity that week.  The plan was to start at a hotel, canoe down the river to another hotel, stay 2 nights and then move again.  After 8 days the organisers picked us up and returned us to the start.
